Macedonia’s Premier Rental Company Snaps Up Soundcraft Series 5 Console

KLS light & sound is Macedonia's leading entertainment technology rental company, offering the full range of audio, lighting and projection services to the events market in the Balkan region. As part of a major investment into high-end audio equipment over the last few months, KLS has purchased a new Soundcraft Series FIVE audio console.
This is the first Series 5 mixer to be imported into the Balkans, says Soundcraft distributor VISION in Skopje. "This kind of sophisticated professional equipment is hardly available in this region, which make this purchase even more important," says Ljupco Nikolovski.
On its arrival, Petar Georgievski, owner of KLS light & sound, sent his new Soundcraft desk directly to the Skopje Jazz Festival, the prestigious event that draws world-class jazz performers to the capital of Macedonia. This year's headline acts included McCoy Tyner (USA), Femi Kuti and Positive Force (Nigeria) and Rosalia Sousa (Brazil) over the five-day long festival.
Within weeks, KLS was using the console for another important festival, the Taksirat 6, also staged in Skopje for an audience of over 8000 people. According to Georgievski, the Series 5 was equally at home with the heavy metal and prog rock content of German band Kreator and LET 3 from Croatia, as it was with the reggae of Bob Marley's band The Wailers, Turkish Eurovision winners Athena and the electropop Darkwood Dub from Serbia and Montenegro.
