MCL Birmingham for ICC Birmingham
MCL Birmingham has been a supplier to the ICC Birmingham for a number of years, but will now take main responsibility for the provision any additional AV requirements that the ICC Birmingham may have.
The appointment was secured in the face of intense competition, and one of the reasons for MCL’s success has been the excellent working relationship that exists between hire desk manager Chris Cheatle and the ICC Birmingham’s technical manager, Paul Dipple.
Chris commented: “We have always worked very hard to ensure we provide what our clients want, when they want it. However we took this a step further for the ICC Birmingham. We met with the ICC Birmingham team and noted the areas in which they saw the greatest need for additional support in the coming years. For example there was an increasing requirement for moving lights, and as a result we invested over £70,000 in adding to our already extensive lighting stock in Birmingham.”
As well as having access to the extensive hire inventory of MCL Birmingham, Chris is also able to offer equipment and expertise from all the other Avesco plc group companies, which include Creative Technology, Screenco, Presteigne Broadcast Hire and Dimension Audio.
On behalf of the ICC Birmingham, Paul Dipple was delighted to be able to confirm this agreement with MCL Birmingham. “We have worked closely with MCL Birmingham for a number of years and we have always been very pleased with both the quality of equipment and the service provided. We look forward to working even more closely with MCL in the future,” he said.
