2004 saw Specialz make major technical contributions to projects as diverse as Kids TV show Fun Song Factory (set lights installation), Phil Collins (five DMX controlled Louvre panels), Morrissey (12' high illuminated sign) and two stage sets for Daniel O'Donnell, each including a lightweight electrically operated scissor lift drum riser, designed and built in house. Other important projects included light boxes for the BBC Proms, clam shell footlights for the Scissor Sisters, Rammstein oversize Marshall Amps, complete with glowing valves, and two video frames for Dido.
