Qm Group Soars Into 2005
Leading queue management specialist Qm Group has experienced its best year yet almost doubling its turnover at the start of 2005.
Sales have soared by almost 40% and as a result the company which recently experienced a management buyout has announced a major investment in new warehouse and assembly facilities, opening up its second site in the UK.
The north Milton Keynes-based site provides the company with an extra 7500 square feet of space and is home to approximately 8000 queue barriers and barrier components.
Managing Director Alistair Agnew said: “Adding to our significant UK growth, a major driver for expansion has been Qm’s increased sales in Germany and Ireland. The new manufacturing site will free up vital space and assembly staff at Qm headquarters, allowing for additional focus on innovation and new product development.”
He continues: “We know from the marketplace that retailers are increasingly aware of the need for improving service and this clearly includes taking better care of customers while they’re waiting!”
