Vienna’s Newest Youth Theatre is QSC Powered
The venue’s sound systems deliver the best in terms of both spoken word intelligibility and musical fidelity. The systems are based around high/mid speakers and subs from German-made Kling & Freitag and the French company Hortus Audio, all of which are powered by a battalion of PLX-series amps from Costa Mesa, CA-based QSC Audio. Delivering up to 3400 watts in a lightweight 2RU design, the PLX-series features QSC’s Advanced Thermal Management System and Powerwave switching technology to provide powerful reliability under the most demanding conditions.
The theatre’s two halls host a busy programme of shows, from traditional and modern theatre to a wide range of musical performances. In any given week, the sound system can face anything from the house’s array of AKG microphones to a mobile DJ setup featuring Denon and Tascam components. The installation was by Klangfarbe GmbH, a partner from the Austrian distributor eXact Vertriebsges.m.b.H.
