Lift-Turn-Move at Frankfurt
LTM-Lift Turn Move Ltd – ‘The Lodestar People’ – was launched in September 2004. The new company is based in The Wirral, Merseyside. It’s wholly owned and operated by a nucleus of staff including John Jones and Dave King, who introduced the Columbus McKinnon Lodestar motor to the professional entertainment and touring industries in the UK and Europe.
LTM is attending its first Pro Light & Sound Frankfurt show, and will be showing examples from its comprehensive range of Lodestar motors and IBEX programmable hoist controllers.
An extensive range of lifting and rigging equipment is available from LTM including Lodestar and Prostar electric chain hoists. Lodestar is now the entertainment industry standard hoist and these products can be found on most tours, events and festival and in many venues around the world.
High integrity hoisting systems are also available including equipment to BGV C1 German safety standard. Special features include double brakes, load sensing and multiple limit switches. Variable speed units and manual or computerised controllers are available to monitor safety features and drive the equipment. LTM has more experience of BGV C1 than anyone else in the UK.
LTM offers a comprehensive range of spare parts plus repairs and routine servicing, with staff fully trained in standard equipment and BGV C1.
Also showing is the new compact CM Prostar hoists, with increased capacities and speeds. This higher speed version will climb at 6 or 10m/min (increased from the industry standard 4 metres a minute). A new 250 Kg SWL @ 4m/minute version is also shown.
IBEX’s Programmable Hoist Controller offers fully computerised control, combined with the simplicity and versatility of a traditional manual hoist controller. It provides as little or as much functionality as required by the show. The Programmable Hoist Controller Plus adds even more power and versatility, with an enhanced control panel and integrated Ethernet port, for the most demanding applications. Up to 10 controllers may be linked together, providing control of up to 240 hoists. PC’s may also be connected for full screen status display and remote control functions.
