MC2 Audio at Pro Light + Sound
MC2 Audio showed a selection of its widely acclaimed amplifiers, including the E45 and E25 for the touring market, the MC1250 and the T2000 at Frankfurt Pro Light + Sound.
The E45 is a high powered 11kg amplifier aimed directly at the national and international touring market. It is rated at 2250W / channel into 4 ohms, built in a 2U chassis, and has all the sonic qualities and reliability of the MC and T Series amplifiers but without the physical weight, making it ideal for touring. The E25, meanwhile, weighs 10.25kg and has 1250W / channel into 4 ohms.
The MC1250 provides sonic performance comparable to the best hi-fi amplifiers, but with more power at its disposal and the T2000’s versatility make it ideal for a wide variety of fixed installation applications where the highest sonic quality is a priority.
MC2 amplifiers are considered a must by an increasing number of audio engineers. The E-Series is being adopted by an increasing number of theatre tours, as well as for fixed installations where its benefits are also being recognised, whilst the MC1250 is about to be used by Autograph sound designers Terry Jardine and Chris Full on the new production of Guys and Dolls staring Ewan McGregor which is previewing at the Piccadilly Theatre from 19th May.
