Sunbaba’s Spanking New MTV Challenge
Sunbaba created a series of branded digitally printed screens for MTV earlier this month which were used as a backdrop and branding for their ‘Spanking New Music Week’ event which took place at Manchester Metropolitan University Student’s Union.
MTV’s three night event featured some of the UK’s newest acts from Jem and The Longcut to The Editors, who are expected to break into the charts this year, performing in front of a series of DigiMesh backdrops produced Sunbaba. These screens were digital printed so the simple black and white ‘Spanking New Music’ logos were reproduced with perfect clarity.
In addition to the main stage backdrops Sunbaba also produced digitally printed PA Scrims using their new scrim material ‘DigiSound’ which allows the sound to pass through with almost signal degradation.
The Sunbaba team also printed the striking black and white ‘Spanking New Music’ logo on a number of other banners, screens and a press backdrop, which were used to complete the transformation from a student union into a film studio suitable for broadcast on MTV.
