Britannia Row Tours the Doves with Lake Contour
For the recent UK leg of the Doves tour, Britannia Row Productions assigned three Lake Contour controllers to manage all speaker and room processing for the main VDosc / SB218 line array system and Arcs in-fills, specified by Doves mix engineer Paul Ramsey.
Designed to be versatile enough for the diversity of university and theatre-style venues covered by the tour, the rig was programmed and tuned for each show by Paul Ramsey working in conjunction with system engineer Chris Peters, using dedicated speaker control parameters supplied from L-Acoustics web-based library.
Paul Ramsey was enthusiastic about the benefits the Lake processors brought to the system: “I just love the sound of the Contour filters and the user-friendliness of the software – the Grouping and EQ overlays in particular,” he said.
Lake Contour is distributed in the UK by Out Board.
