JVC to Showcase ProHD range at Broadcast Production Show 2005
JVC will have a major presence at this year's Broadcast Production Show with the UK launch of their ProHD range of products, including the new 3-CCD GY-HD100 camcorder and the BR-HD50 recorder / player (announced at NAB, 2005). These products can record on both PAL standard definition and HD and use the worldwide high definition standard of HDVTM. JVC will exhibit on stand E37 at Earls Court, Hall 2 from 1 to 3 June.
Breathtaking images are to be seen on the JVC stand as they showcase the range of HD and multi-standard DT-V series of broadcast monitors. A new 10-inch monitor in this range, the DT-V100CG will be introduced. This cost-effective, compact monitor is ideal for high-end users whose requirement is to monitor HD SDI and SDI signals accurately, flexibly and affordably.
A self-contained rear projection rig system which incorporates the native HD (1920 x 1080) DLA-HD2K projector will also be a show highlight. With an optical "engine" containing three 0.8-inch (D-ILA) imaging devices and a contrast ratio of over 2000:1 this projector generates clearly defined images.
John Carpenter, general manager, sales & marketing at JVC Professional Europe comments: "We are very excited about the launch of the new ProHD high definition products and the release of more HD capable monitors and projection systems. This is the first occasion that the London-based production community will have to see the amazing image qualities generated by our first truly professional HDV products."
