Klotz Digital Names Fred Leitner Senior Sales Manager Europe
Klotz Digital has announced that Fred Leitner will assume the position of senior sales manager Europe, reporting to Joachim Rankenhohn, vice president of Klotz Digital Europe. With this new appointment Klotz Digital expects to boost the company’s activities in Southern and Eastern Europe, North Africa and Israel. Fred Leitner will also be responsible for the German, Austrian and Swiss radio broadcast (RBC) markets. As a sales manager Leitner will accelerate the ongoing development and growth of Klotz Digital and be responsible for the development of the sales channel. Furthermore Leitner’s duties include representation of all Klotz Digital products to customers and reseller, working with key accounts, forecasting and reporting sales, as well as analyzing industry trends for further RBC developments.
Fred Leitner is bringing more than two decades of experience in both technology and sales to the company, most of them in leading positions. He has worked as head of engineering at well-known European radio stations like Radio M1 (Bolzano/Italy), Antenne Austria (Vienna), and Radio Plus Monte Carlo (Monaco). Later, as managing director, he designed, built and maintained entire system solutions for broadcasters with Audio Media Service in Bielefeld /Germany. Leitner began his sales career at Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd., where he established and expanded the German electronic business division. He held further positions of increasing responsibility within the sales departments of iSEG Technologies (Munich) and Glory Media Consultants Ltd. (Hong Kong).

In making the announcement, Rankenhohn stated that "Fred's extensive technological and sales skills, in particular his expertise in broadcast solutions, will be a real asset to our company."
