Multi-Lite Expands into China
The Multi-Lite group continues its growth with the opening an office and warehouse facility in Shanghai earlier this year. This is the second subsidiary of the German-based company following the establishment of Multi-Lite Inc. in Burbank, California in 2003.
The group services lighting professionals worldwide with replacement lamps made by Osram, Philips, GE and other brands for SSTV, airfield lighting, medical and other purposes. "We are very pleased to now serve our Asian customers even better from a location on their continent with a local distribution centre in combination with our worldwide purchasing abilities," says Wolfgang Massow, the founder and president of the Multi-Lite group. "In additon we are now able to support worldwide touring productions with their replacement bulb needs more efficiently. For our U.S. customers we would also like to be the gateway for lamp purchases in China."
The Shanghai branch is beeing managed by Mr. Zhang who was previously servicing Chinese customers from Hamburg, Germany.
