Big Success for Triple E’s 3WAY System at ABTT 2005

Track systems specialist, Triple E has announced the hugely successful launch of its innovative 3WAY curtain track system at the recent ABTT Theatre Show. Scooping the coveted Engineering and Rigging Product of the Year award at ABTT’s annual dinner and awards ceremony added to its success as did a flood of orders through Triple E’s new distributor – J & C Joel.

Together with Rosebrand in the USA, J&C Joel will augment Triple E’s sales and market position globally, and both distributors have championed the potential of the 3WAY system.

Perfectly complementing Triple E’s industry standard Unitrack and Unirail systems, 3WAY has been designed and built to the highest specifications and developed specifically for smaller stages and venues operating on smaller budgets.

Exhibiting for the 21st time at the ABTT Theatre Show, Triple E’s managing director David Edelstein commented: “This year’s show has by far exceeded our expectations and was the best yet for Triple E. To guarantee smooth operations, a huge amount of research and planning went into 3WAY’s design and launch. It was rigorously tested for months in advance, and its availability for immediate dispatch was guaranteed by building up our initial stocks. Just as well - bearing in mind we took several substantial orders on the first day of the show alone. Receiving our fourth ABTT Product of the Year award with 3WAY added to its impact and the success of the show. We’re delighted that 3WAY hit the ground running!”

As Triple E’s distributor, J&C Joel’s sales director, James Wheelwright, added:

“Our broad customer base covers over 72 countries, which puts us in a strong position to build Triple E’s international market share. Their range perfectly complements our own manufactured portfolio of theatrical drapes, stage hardware and flame retardant fabrics. This enables us to offer a complete installation package across markets as diverse as theatre; conferencing, education and a host of leisure build applications.

“The new 3WAY system is fantastic and enhances our capacity to provide flexible and discreet solutions. Since ABTT, we’ve already fulfilled a number of orders, proving its potential as a cost effective system and an ideal alternative to Triple E’s industry standard Unitrack or Unirail systems.”

Also on display at ABTT was a Harley Davidson, to promote the ride that David Edelstein is taking part in, crossing the USA with the The Long Reach Long Riders charity motorcycle ride, which will raise funds for Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids. During the show there were a number of generous pledges of support and Triple E raised £475 in donations both at the exhibition and during the awards dinner. David would like to thank everybody who kindly donated money towards Broadway Cares and wished him well for the ride.
