Faceparty Events Presents Big Gay Out 2005
Faceparty.com is the ‘Biggest Party On Earth’ and its new Events Division - Faceparty Events - presents Big Gay Out for the second time in Finsbury Park on Saturday the 23rd July.
Faceparty Events stages many large-scale club events as a means of bringing to life the virtual interaction of the website, fusing the unique combination of the brand’s integral concept into a live party environment. Unlike any other online community, Faceparty has established itself as a professional events production company, recognised for its stunning and eclectic production values and top artist line-ups.
Set to be one of the most breathtaking one-day Festivals this summer, playing host to an anticipated 35,000 party revellers, Big Gay Out is a not-for-profit charity event that celebrates Sexual Freedom for Gay Straight, Bisexual, Transgender Male and Females alike.
Dedicated to music lovers, it will deliver an eclectic and sensational line-up with performances from the likes of Girls Aloud, Bananarama, Tony Christie and as well as dance, soul and hip-hop artists, including, Goldfrapp, Beverley Knight, Felix Da Housecat, Plump DJ’s, Cuban Brothers, Adam Freeland, Terri Walker, Killa Kela and Lady Sovereign.
Faceparty Event’s second Big Gay Out promises slick production values across 12 stages and tents. Features include, a Beach Island, The Enchanted Forest of David Hasselhoff and a Fairytale Wonderland. In addition, foam parties, Jacuzzis, 16 outdoor lasers, spectacular fireworks and exploding gazebos will combine to provide the ultimate party experience.
Big Gay Out 2004 was a huge success, with 20,000 partygoers, and over 160 artists performing live over 11 stages. Musical acts included Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Mark Almond, Jamelia, Sugababes, Har Mar Superstar and Liberty X, as well as a host of London’s top clubs and DJ’s. The mixture and diversity of music acts was mirrored by the range of themes at the event, with everything from champagne bars, splash pools, Jacuzzis, and stunning stage sets, to inflatable fruit and stage pyrotechnics.
By combining top DJs, arial stunt shows, cabaret extraordinaire and immense creative know-how, Faceparty have staged some of the UK’s most exciting events.
Heralded by FHM and Mixmag as the UK’s best party organiser in 2002 and 2003, Faceparty’s creates explosive parties and spectacular wonderlands, fizzing with energy that have become legendary.
In September 2003, their ‘Festival Of Dreams’ featured an ice cave built from 700 tonnes of ice, a rainforest constructed from 30,000 real plants and trees, and exclusive performances from leading pop artists.
