Lighthouse Screens at Tivoli Gardens
Swedish audio visual experts Massteknik’s recently purchased Lighthouse R16 16mm pixel pitch LED video screen have been installed into Copenhagen’s famous Tivoli Gardens for its summer season of concerts.
Until the end of September, Tivoli is using the two 5x5 panel screens, measuring 5.1x3.8m and controlled by Lighthouse LVC88 processors, to show live footage of the concerts interspersed with video clips.
Massteknik’s Claes Winberg explains: “We purchased the R16 screens because they have excellent resolution, picture quality and the weight of the panels makes them easy to install for this type of application. Of course the price is always important and they offer a very good return on investment.
“Also, because Massteknik isn’t running the screen - Tivoli is handling that in-house - they must be easy to use. The Lighthouse screens fulfill all the necessary criteria and since we installed them at the beginning of April, they have been running very well and the client is totally satisfied."
