New Postgraduate Course Launched
The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama has announced the launch of its new Postgraduate Diploma in Lighting Design to supplement its current courses in Theatre Design and Stage Management.
This course is intended for students interested in drama, opera and musicals and will offer each student at least five designs during their one year training. Based in Cardiff, the students will work with a range of professionals to produce shows which tour the UK and Ireland. The course has already recruited the support of Martin Professional who have agreed to sponsor the scholarship fund for the next five years. It is scheduled to open in September 2006.
Once again the college will be exhibiting at the ABTT Theatre Show 2005 (Stand 53) where members of college staff will be available to talk through any of their courses in more detail
