New Products and an Extra Stand for White Light at ABTT 2005

White Light's presence at ABTT will be bigger this year, with new products from Robert Juliat and Clay Paky and the ward winning Digital Festoon System. White Light will also be announcing its appointment as a Prolyte distributor and the exclusive Arri Theatre Lighting distributor in the UK.

Leading entertainment lighting supplier White Light will be exhibiting at the ABTT Theatre Show 2005, which takes place on 15th and 16th June at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, SW1. White Light’s appearance continues the company’s long involvement with the show, stretching right back to its stand at the first ABTT Show in 1978.

Then, the products on show included Strand’s Patt 123 and 743 Fresnels. Now, White Light will be showing examples of the very latest lighting technology, including conventional lighting, automated lighting and LED lighting. There will be so much to show, in fact, that White Light will this year be spread across two stands, stand 58 in the Assembly Hall and stand 99 in the Lawrence Hall.

Conventional lighting will include the Arri Studio Theatre 1k and Studio Theatre 2k Fresnels, marking White Light’s appointment as a distributor for Arri theatre lighting products. Moving lights will include the new, tungsten Alpha Wash Halo washlight from Clay Paky, attracting a great deal of attention from lighting designers seeking a bright, low-noise, colour-mixing washlight based on a tungsten light source. LED lighting will take the form of the ChromaQ ColorBlock, which has been put to spectacular use on a number of recent projects lit by White Light’s events team.

Also on show will be products from manufacturers for which White Light is the exclusive UK distributor, including lanterns and followspots from Robert Juliat, DMX distribution products from ELC, colour scrollers from Rainbow and smoke and haze machines from Look Solutions. Representatives from ELC and Robert Juliat will join White Light’s staff on stand.

White Light’s main stand (99) will also use another product line for which White Light has recently been appointed distributor - the Prolyte range of trussing.

White Light’s will also show the Digital Festoon System on stand 58. Controlled from a PC or via DMX, the Digital Festoon System allows individual control of every lamp along a length of festoon, allowing dramatic lighting effects to be created quickly and easily. The Digital Festoon System won an award for Innovation at last year’s PLASA Show.

White Light can be found on stands 58 and 99 at the ABTT Show 2005, with stand 58 conveniently located close to the bar!
