Telectra Wins Innovation Prize at Oxford Business Awards 2005

Fierce competition was provided by the other finalists across diverse fields of advanced science, biosciences technology experts, Oxford Genome Sciences, and RM plc (Research Machines plc), the specialist educational information and communication technology company, adding to the illustrious nature of the award. The award was sponsored by Marks & Clerk, the patent and trade mark attorneys and The Oxford Times.
Sales and marketing director of Telectra, Alan Oliver, was jubilant with the result. “This crowned off a great week for all of us at Telectra. Two days earlier, we were awarded the prestigious ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) lighting product of the year 2005 for our “ice*lighting” product designed for T.V. shows, events and stage,” he said. “This recognition of our proprietary technologies and our advanced lighting products is testament to the hard work of our development and support teams over the last two or three years.”
As well as ice*lighting, Telectra’s products, utilising Bead*light Technologies, include premium aircraft cabin seat lighting and the Light*Wand range of performance products for professional musicians and stage and theatre technicians.
