A.C. Lighting Supply Funktion One Res 4 System to Starsound
A.C. Lighting’s Audio division has sold a Funktion One Resolution 4 loudspeaker system to a Northern based UK production and hire company.
Dave Nutbrown of Yorkshire-based audio production services company, Starsound Systems, was already using Funktion One’s award-winning touring speakers and had been getting an excellent reaction to them from his customers – particularly their quality of audio and powerful output for such compact cabinets.
As a result, Dave wanted to expand the company’s hire stock to enable more of his customers to enjoy the quality of sound the units provided, so he approached audio sales manager Peter Butler at UK dealer A.C. Lighting to supply four Resolution 4 touring enclosures and two F-218 bass enclosures.
Funktion One have been consistent innovators in loudspeaker design and manufacture for many years. The company’s pursuit of excellence has culminated in the development of the Resolution range, which delivers the ultimate listening experience for all applications.
The Resolution 4 touring enclosures are perfectly suited to use in medium sized applications. Featuring a revolutionary flying system shared by all Resolution touring enclosures, the design makes for extremely fast and easy set up due to all inter-cabinet flying hardware being built into the enclosures.
The F-218 double 18” bass enclosures utilise Funktion One’s renowned bass design, which is the result of an holistic approach, over many years of research and development, into bass loading techniques. The evolved product is highly regarded in pro audio circles for its extreme robustness and delivery of large quantities of tight, punchy, well-defined clean bass from a relatively small and very manageable package.
