A Silver Celebration at Stagecraft
Stagecraft is celebrating a milestone of 25 years in business. The Salisbury-based company, which has achieved massive growth since completing its first year of trading in 1980, has been presented with numerous awards during its 25 years for commitment and dedication to the industry.
Managing director, David Goodrich commented: “It is incredible to think that 25 years has passed and I am proud to be part of an exciting and innovative industry. Over the last few years we have seen massive growth in drama in education fuelled by the manufacture of ever more sophisticated and affordable equipment. The trend has continued in the corporate sector where our clients now demand productions that rival a West End show.”
The Stagecraft Group now has 18 members of staff and up to 50 freelancers working from its five units in Salisbury. The company is known for its creative expertise and has been responsible for the design, staging and organisation of numerous blue-chip international and national conferences and meetings. Stagecraft has also built up a strong reputation for its hire and sales departments through its work with schools, festivals and concerts throughout the South.
