RMS to Preview Latest Rental Management System at PLASA 2005
At the PLASA Show in London in September, RMS will show a preview of its latest version of the world-wide used Rental Management Systems.
This new version, code-named RMSNET, has been build from the ground up, using the latest techniques. RMSNET has become even faster, easier to use and provides users with new ways to be productive.
RMSNET uses an entirely new technique to handle the data. This technique allows users to either use the native RMS-dataformat, or use an SQL-database. The SQL-database is the most powerful and secure database available, and is capable of handling enormous amounts of data.
With RMSNET, users can connect from anywhere in the world to their data, using a standard internet-connection. Where many other programs use expensive external programs like Citrix or Terminal Server, RMSNET provides direct, fast access tio the database via the internet, without any extra costs.
The new Project Wrapper is used to place all jobs, subhires, crew and transport under one 'umbrella'. Budgets and cost-analisys give the user a detailed view of all proceeds and costs of a project.
