Soundcraft GB4 for Redhouse Productions in Ireland
Redhouse Productions in Sligo, in north-west Ireland, has taken delivery of a new 24-channel Soundcraft GB4 console, which will be used on a wide variety of projects in theatre venues around Ireland.
Redhouse proprietor Vinnie Higgins has a long history with Soundcraft consoles – "I've always like their build quality and their sound" – and is comfortable that the new GB4 will offer the same level of reliability that he has been used to.
"This is a good desk for the money," says Vinnie, who has been looking for a new 24-channel touring mixer since the end of last year. "It offers 8 auxes, which is excellent for this size of desk, since it allows us to do an 8-way monitor mix."
