APart Launch Host of New Products at PLASA
The APart brand has quickly become synonymous with affordable quality loudspeakers and electronics, and PLASA 2005 was the first UK showing (on the stand of Sennheiser) of many new products, from the new PA-CONF conference system to 100v line amplifiers, and a whole new range of loudspeakers.
The PA-CONF consists of both delegate and chairman units that can be either table mount or flush mount for furniture integration. The system can have up to 50 delegate units and up to three chairman units with priority, and has facilities for additional mic and line inputs as well as PA and record outputs.
APart also introduced the new SDX line and the MASK line of loudspeakers replacing both the Sdi and Boxx lines. This move is in order to simplify the range options and in many cases reduce the prices. The MASK speakers will be available either in pairs or as part of the PUBSET system, which includes amplification, processing and subs.
The range of 100v electronics will be extended this September with the introduction of the new MA Series of 100v mixer amplifiers. Included is the MA 200 200watt with 4 mic and 4 line inputs, the MA 200CDR (as MA 200 but with built-in tuner, CD player and MP3 player) and the MA 200 with built in AM/FM tuner. These new products complement the current range of mixer amplifiers, the MA 35, MA 65 and the MA 120. There is also a new 240w, 100v slave amplifier - the PA240P.
Other products include the PR-1000 rack mount tuner, a new range of column speakers and additions to the range of ceiling speakers.
