Hawthorn Theatrical in Double AZTEC First
Hawthorn Theatrical has recently taken delivery of their second Aztec console, making them the first double Aztec company in the UK. Hawthorn, a leader in corporate production hire, specified the 48ch console alongside their existing 32 channel Aztec, which has proven to be a real work horse for the company.
Iain Reinhold, head of audio, notes: “The acquisition of the larger 48 channel console was confirmed after reviewing the level of work we are doing. The need for a larger console had become apparent and the purchase of another Aztec became necessary. Maintaining consistency with our hire inventory is paramount. We now hold one of the largest stocks of Audient equipment in the UK, having both Aztecs and a vast array of ASP231 graphic EQs in our arsenal. Audio quality, service and reliability are paramount – Audient gives us all this and more.”

As with their inaugural console, Packhorse Cases supplied a specially modified custom case for Hawthorn Theatrical, according to Iain Reinhold’s own specifications.
