Midas Consoles Holland Strikes Gold with Heritage
Midas Consoles Holland reports a busy month of sales, with Heritage consoles being sold to two rental companies and one brand new venue.
Almaro Sound & Vision has taken delivery of a Heritage 1000 with a quantity of Klark Teknik signal processing equipment including DN370 graphic equalisers, and DN500 Plus, DN504 Plus and DN514 Plus dynamic processors.
“I’ve been working steadily towards the moment when I could purchase this equipment, which makes such a big audio statement,” explains company owner Alco Roelofs. “Midas and KT are providing me with the tools to participate on a professional international level when competing for tenders and fulfilling riders.”
Roelofs will be using his new Midas/KT setup for his thriving corporate work, which includes all Tommy Hilfiger events in Holland.
Another Dutch rental company, PSPA, has purchased a Midas Heritage 2000 and four Klark Teknik DN1248 Plus mic splitters. PSPA is very active in the touring theatre and festival markets and for those applications needed equipment that not only delivered an unbeatable sonic quality but also guaranteed reliability and market acceptance. Company owner Peter de Sterke describes his purchase as the logical result of defining the requirements of a large format console and top class splitters, while feeling the decision was ultimately guaranteed to be secure given that Midas products retain such a high residual value year on year.
Meanwhile new music venue Patronaat in Haarlem has taken delivery of a Midas Heritage 2000 FOH and a Siena monitor console. The crew of new venue tested several other consoles before coming to the conclusion that no other brand could equal the Midas quality
