New Gear-Source Office Based in the UK
Gear-Source, Inc has announced the formation of a new office servicing the European, African and Middle Eastern regions.
GearSource Europe and the associated new site (www.gearsourceeurope.com) will be a close duplicate of the US based company, but the office will be based in the United Kingdom. Marcel Fairbairn, president of Gear-Source, LLC says: “We have been searching for the ideal opportunity to expand our European business, and we have now found the perfect person to head it up. We are excited to move closer to our European clientele and also to locate new clients and vendors in these important markets.
Instrumental in establishing GearSource Europe is Garry Nelsson who has been involved in the entertainment industry since 1985. He began working in and around the television stations of the Middle East and most recently spent time with the Lighting Technology Group in west London. Nelsson travelled extensively establishing the group's international business while creating a vital network of people and companies in the lighting, staging and audio fields. This network, and Nelsson's well established relationships will produce GearSource Europe's rapid growth - similar to what its parent company has seen in North America, where they are market leaders in the used gear arena.
The new website is expected to go live on 1st November. It will feature a lot of new technology which will also be updated on the parent site. Stay tuned!
