Outline's West End debut
Outline professional audio will have its West End Debut at London’s famous Savoy Theatre, with ‘The Rat Pack’ live from Las Vegas. The show takes us through the night time cabaret capers of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr. By day they were filming Oceans Eleven at night they lit up the Sands Hotel with their personality and timeless songs.
The Savoy was the first theatre in London to have electric light, and 2005 sees the theatre with another first. Theatrelease, a new company formed to supply sound and technical support has employed Outlines ‘Butterfly’ line array.
Two hangs of eight CDH 483 mid/hi packs have been flown left and right to cover 75% of the auditorium, a further two CDH 483s per side have been employed left and right of the stage to cater for the stalls area, two Victor live sub basses have been used for low frequencies, and 21 Outline IS6T have been employed as discreet delays.
On stage 14 mixes are catered for by five H.A.R.D 212 low profile wedges and 12 Micra II SP’s for the 15-piece swing band. Side fill duties are via Outlines award winning ‘Kangaroo’ system.
