Blitz Expands Conference Catalogue
Blitz Sound, one of the UK's leading providers of audio-visual services, has taken delivery of 40 Sennheiser conference microphone sets to add to their hire catalogue, with a further 40 sets ordered for January 2006. Each set comprises the ME34 cardioid capsule, ME36 mini-shotgun head, both short and long goosenecks, table stand and accessories.
As part of the expansion of their comprehensive corporate events service, Blitz is currently undertaking an extensive replenishment of sound hire stocks at its Elstree head office. Chris Jordan of Blitz Sound said: “Our customers range from local seminar programmes to international conferences and the Sennheiser ME system provides sound reinforcement with a clear natural audio that is head and shoulders above anything else we tried. We have seen a steady growth in this area and the range helps us deliver a professional, high-quality service.”
For many people, cost can also be a significant concern, and for this reason Blitz has concentrated on a range of versatile modular sets to meet corporate event requirements. These are designed to be simple to transport, assemble and adapt to the layout of the venue.
After auditioning a number of different systems, and with feedback from a number of Blitz clients, the Sennheiser system was declared the undisputed winner.
"Just plug it in, and everything works. That's what you want from a presentation system – once you set it up, you don’t want to have to come back to it," Jordan observes. "The ME series really is a fine example of Sennheiser engineering."
