ISE 2006 Announces Free 1.5 and 3 Hour Conference Sessions

With just a few days to go until the 3rd edition of Integrated Systems Europe 2006 opens its doors at the Brussels Expo, the organisers, in conjunction with the three associations announce that the conference sessions will be free of charge to everyone.

With an eleventh hour surge in show registrations, coupled with an exhibition which is more than twice the size of last year’s event, a meeting was held between the three electronic systems industry associations: the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), InfoComm International and the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA. Based on this exceptional interest in the show, they decided that the fees for the 1.5 hour, and 3 hour conference sessions should be waived this one time. The flood of pre-registrations over the last week has pushed visitor numbers up to the amount of attendees that visited the show last year.

ISE 2006 managing director, Mike Blackman was delighted with the decision taken: "Whilst we knew that ISE 2006 was exceeding all expectations in terms of visitor numbers and exhibitor bookings, we were surprised and slightly overwhelmed with the amount of interest shown in this event. Visitors are looking for more than just an exhibition when they attend a trade show. At ISE 2006, we will not only treat them to a spectacular display of Audio Visual demonstrations in the pavilions, but also we can now offer them a free learning experience from the very best people in the industry. This is an historical step taken by the associations”.

Blackman sees the decision to waive the conference fees as a strong recognition by the industry and its associations of the importance of education and learning development. “Education plays a pivotal role in the continued success of the AV Systems and Electronic Integration Market and to ensure that we continue to see such exponential growth, it is vital that visitors take the opportunity to enhance their product knowledge and technical skills by attending the variety of innovative sessions at the show,” he said.

The third edition of Integrated Systems Europe will be held 1-3 February 2006 at the Brussels expo.
