Mitsubishi Demonstrates Commitment to SI Partners

Mitsubishi Display Engineering has opened its new European Visitor Centre (EVC). Intended primarily for use by System’s Integrators and customers, the new centre features the very latest Mitsubishi display products, set in an attractive, purpose built environment. The new facility will allow System’s Integrators to demonstrate products to customers, conduct training and engineer tailored display solutions using the most recent Mitsubishi display products, and with Mitsubishi engineers on-hand to lend technical assistance if required. The EVC will also allow SI’s to conduct acceptance testing and provide proof of concept facilities when tendering for major contracts.

The EVC, located at Mitsubishi’s Benelux headquarters just outside Amsterdam, is crammed Mitsubishi display technology, including the new 50” and 67” SXGA+ DLP cubes and the new 32”, 40” and “46” Mitsubishi LCD displays. Alongside these are a full range of existing products including 50” and 67” XGA cube walls, a 50” front access cube, a high resolution LED screen together with a wide range of Mitsubishi B2B projector products. There is also a complete home cinema set up featuring the latest HC3000 home cinema projector. A comprehensive range of display controllers and associated hardware from Electrosonic, Jupiter, Zandar, Gesab and Extron complements the Mitsubishi displays and allows an even greater degree of versatility.

Peter van Dijk, marketing manager for Mitsubishi Benelux, Eastern Europe and Russia, says: “The European Visitor Centre is far more than just a showroom for Mitsubishi displays. It is intended to be an extension of our SI partner’s and customer’s own demonstration facilities. As a manufacturer, we believe strongly that the key to success lies in supporting the activities of our SI partners. The investment we’ve made in the EVC demonstrates Mitsubishi’s commitment to maintaining strong relationships with our partners and customers.”

Following its official opening by Mr. Sasakawa, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Europe, on 9th December, the EVC will be receiving its first guests early in the New Year.
