New Team Helps Stagecraft Light the Way

Leading staging, lighting and sound company Stagecraft has welcomed eight new faces to its growing team. The company, which reported record success for its hire department and theatre services subsidiary during 2005, has expanded its team to meet increased business for 2006.

“We’ve had some great successes this year at Stagecraft and have travelled far and wide with live events, festivals and projects. Our existing team has a vast amount of technical experience coupled with dedication and huge doses of creativity – and I believe that this is a winning combination. The performance industry is always changing and developing and we are delighted to welcome some new team members to Stagecraft at a time when we are also developing new strands and pushing the boundaries of stage, light and sound. With their help we are looking forward to a very busy 2006!” commented David Goodrich, managing director.

Joining Stagecraft are: Dhana Lamér (live events account manager), Dawn Gear (assistant PA), David Walker and Duncan Bavister (hire customer services supervisors), Stuart Robson (warehouse operations supervisor) and Adrian Blanch (trainee warehouse assistant). In addition Mike Guglielmi (technical sales) and David Mockford (service engineer) have joined Stagecraft Theatre Services.

During 2006, Stagecraft’s team will be working on new educational, privately funded initiatives and theatre projects, festivals and concerts, for example the Salisbury International Arts Festival, and worldwide live events with blue chip companies.
