Bandit Announces the Addition of Lester Cobrin to its Global Management Team

Bandit Lites has announced the appointment of Lester Cobrin as chief executive for all UK and European operations with effect from early October. In his new role, Cobrin will oversee one of the largest lighting supply companies in the UK and Europe.
Cobrin began his career in the entertainment industry in 1991 working at Samuelson
Concert Productions and Theatre Projects. While there, Cobrin acquired experience in all departments. Starting on the shop floor, he moved into company purchasing and sales, and later into client management. Cobrin covered a variety of projects while acting as client manager, including touring shows to corporate events and everything in between.
In 1997, Cobrin joined Light & Sound Design and began to build a substantial client base within the concert touring, special events, corporate and theatre market sectors. While there, he also had the opportunity to get hands-on experience as lighting technician and production manager on various shows and tours.
Lester Cobrin made the move to Bandit Lites in 2004. As business development
manager, Cobrin injected his talent, personality, energy, ambition and passion into the company. Within two-and-a-half years, Cobrin had propelled the UK operation into orbit by bringing in over 100 clients.
Bandit CEO, Michael Strickland is looking forward to seeing what Lester will
accomplish in his new role. “Lester has done a stunning job as business development manger and I am certain he will excel even further in his new role as chief executive.
Lester was the first choice of both the Bandit Ltd staff and the Bandit global management team for this position, thus he was a natural! We look forward to his addition to the team.”
