Stage Electrics Benefit from Specialist Training

Stage Electric’s strong technical knowledge base was boosted last week with specialist training from Martin Professional. Trainers Chris Hale and Joe Andrews from Martin delivered two training courses in Stage Electric’s Bristol office over a three-day period. In total nine staff benefited from the courses including representatives from the Service team and the Control team in Bristol and staff from Cambridge, London and Tyneside Branches.

The three-day courses covered ‘General Service of Intelligent Lights’ and ‘Hands on Servicing of MAC’s’. Units covered included MAC 250’s, MAC 300’s, MAC 500’s, MAC 550’s, MAC 600’s and MAC 700’s, and each day finished with an examination.

Dan Henderson from Stage Electrics Cambridge said: “it was great to totally strip the units down ourselves; we really got to see what was what and how everything works together.”

Trainer Chris Hale said “it was a pleasure to pass on some knowledge to willing engineers from Stage Electrics; Martin units are designed for easy maintenance.”

This specialist training enables Stage Electrics to continue the development of staff for the future and support their position as the UK’s leading stockist of Martin moving lights for hire.
