A.C. Lighting Appoints Gordon Smith
A.C. Lighting has announced a new staff appointment at the company’s headquarters in High Wycombe.
Gordon Smith joins the company’s UK Sales department as Southern Film and TV sales executive, providing office and in the field support for the company’s expanding range of leading lighting brands.
A well known face in the industry, Gordon brings over 30 years specialist knowledge and commercial experience to the new role, having previously worked in a variety of TV, film, theatre and entertainment lighting hire and sales roles.
Previous roles include working in the sales department of Power Gems supplying equipment to an international network of dealers and working in the rental hire departments of AFM Lighting and Lee Lighting supplying equipment to film and TV production companies.
Phill Capstick, A.C. Lighting's UK sales director, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Gordon to the company. His extensive knowledge and experience of the film and TV lighting market further strengthens the high level of product expertise and support we can provide to customers operating in this entertainment sector.”
