Bandit Congratulates Country Music Award Clients

Bandit Lites has announced that their clients, Brooks and Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban all received awards at the 40th annual Country Music Awards. The event was broadcast live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, TN on November 6, 2006.

The evening’s hosts, Brooks & Dunn, took home the most wins, including Music Video and Single of the Year for ‘Believe’. They were also awarded their 14th Vocal Duo of the Year Award. The addition of these three awards brings Brooks & Dunn’s overall CMA awards count to 18.

Rascal Flatts took home their fourth consecutive Vocal Group of the Year Award. The trio performed ‘My Wish’ from their CMA Award-nominated album, Me and My Gang. Previous American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, took home her first Female Vocalist of the Year Award. Underwood also received the Horizon Award, which is given to the Country Music artist who demonstrates the most substantial growth and development. Kenny Chesney, who has spend the majority of this year touring, was awarded Entertainer of the Year. This is the second time he as received this award. Rounding up the Bandit clients earning awards this year was Keith Urban. Urban received his third consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year Award. George Strait was the last artist to accomplish such a feat. He won the award 1996 through 1998.
