Happiness is Easy with grandMA

“Happiness is easy” was the name used by the Polish Band Myslovitz for their tour during which they visited the seven biggest cities of their home country. Happy also described lighting designer Pawel “Spider” Pajak – he had access to some of the finest material on the market. One grandMA full-size, one grandMA light and one NSP were used for the shows.

“I’ve been touring with the grandMA family again and again. Iit was a huge success,” relates Pajak. “We used the grandMA full-size as a main operating board. The light version was used for programming the video images for the LED screens. Using the ‘World’ function the programmer has a perfect tool to split the video programming onto one console, and other fixtures on a different console. if you have not much time to set-up the show and if you need just to program your ideas into cues, especially if you prepare them earlier, then this really speeds you up. So we use both consoles at the same time to program the lights and video, then we store them into cues of the same showfile, and can play them back together on either console”

Myslovitz is a Polish rock band, whose music incorporates elements of College rock and Britpop, with a dose of melancholy. The band took their name from their industrial hometown of Mys³owice in Upper Silesia (Southern Poland). SCENA FM from Poland provided the lighting equipment.
