Taylor-Phillips Introduces New Recruitment Services

Taylor-Phillips Recruitment, the company dedicated specifically to recruitment in the Entertainment Technology industry, has recently expanded the range of services it offers to clients.

Previously, the company offered a standard fee-per-placement service, based on a percentage of the starting salary. While this system works perfectly well, Taylor-Phillips also feels that clients prefer to have options, so two brand new services have been introduced in addition to the standard service.

The first is the Advertising Service, which allows clients to list vacancies on the Taylor-Phillips website, with additional coverage on etnow.com, in Entertainment Technology magazine (5000 subscribers), and on the weekly ET Express, which is emailed to over 2000 industry-based individuals.

The cost of the Advertising Service is only £100 per vacancy per month, with discounts available to etnow.com subscribers. All applicants are forwarded directly to the client, who then has the choice as to whether or not to proceed with the application.

The second new service, the Premium Service, offers the same exposure as the Advertising Service, but in addition, Taylor-Phillips also emails its extensive, and constantly growing database of candidates directly with the vacancy details. This additional service gives vacancies exposure to over 1000 skilled and experienced candidates, and costs £485 per vacancy, with the listing lasting up to three months.

The major advantage of these new services is that there are no hidden or add-on charges - the client only pays the listing fee regardless of whether or not they place a Taylor-Phillips candidate. Potentially, this can save clients many thousands of pounds.

Taylor-Phillips has had excellent recent success with major placements at Earls Court and Britannia Row Productions, and a large take-up of the new services. Feedback suggests that clients do prefer to have a range of options, and that the calibre of candidates has been excellent. Pat Marillat, personnel advisor at Earls Court, commented: "We asked Taylor Phillips recently to help with a vacancy within our venues that was both technical and specialised. The whole recruitment process was handled very professionally with the selected short-list of candidates deliberate and appropriate for this role. It could have been a painfully long process but it was completed in a timely, pleasant and satisfying manner. We secured a professional employee from a professional recruitment source and from my personal experience, I would have no hesitation in contacting Taylor Phillips again with vacancies of a similar nature."

Taylor-Phillips is part of Cambridge Media Group.
