Trantec Launches Innovative S4.16 UHF Wireless Microphone System
Trantec has announced the launch of its innovative S4.16 UHF wireless radio microphone system. Boasting Trantec’s signatory design expertise the S4.16 system combines world-class manufacturing with an understanding of challenging RF applications. The system is ideal for vocals, presentations and theatre and musical instruments.
The S4.16 builds on the platform of the successful S4.4 system by increasing the number of selectable frequencies to 16 and offering rear mount detachable antennae. These 16 frequencies incorporate the four licence-free channels already used in the S4.4, all working intermodulation free.
Remote antennae can be connected through Trantec antenna distribution units giving a product with performance and flexibility unparalleled at the price.
It is offered in two transmitter variants – Beltpack and Handheld.
The Handheld system comprises a fully integrated handheld microphone, which features a cardioid dynamic capsule and is perfect for the most challenging vocal applications.
The Beltpack system comprises a beltpack transmitter, which is supplied with a small lapel style clip-on microphone. This combination is ideal for use in conferencing and theatre environments where performance and reliability count. The Beltpack system is supplied as standard with a specifically designed instrument cord that enables it to be used with electric guitars and other high impedance instruments.
Trantec’s Steve Baker commented: “We’re delighted with the S4.16 system, it offers performance, quality and design excellence at a very affordable price. It is flexible and designed to operate in todays challenging RF environments. It adds to our growing portfolio of products that not only meet current legislative demands, but provide realistic solutions for today’s multi-channel applications.”
