Trantec Launches S6000E Series
Trantec has announced the launch of its S6000E Series range of radio microphones. Representing a step change and advancement on the original internationally award-winning S6000 range, the S6000E Series is set to make an impact on professional users who demand high levels of flexibility and reliability.
Designed from the ground up by Trantec for use in today’s increasingly complex multi-channel applications the S6000E Series is perfectly suited to the rigorous demands of conferencing, theatre and TV – in fact the S6000 has already set a precedent on many ‘reality’ shows, including Big Brother, Celebrity Love Island and Hells Kitchen.
The S6000E Series receivers boast many enhanced features which not only offer improvements to the original cutting edge design specification, they can also be offered at an even more competitive price.
PC monitoring and editing facilities on all receiver variants, external PC control via a USB port or remote ethernet connection, enhanced audio dynamics processing, improved battery monitoring, RF tracking filters, integrated tone, RSSI and noise squelch system all combine to make the S6000 E-series an impressive RF tool.
Adding to the original design’s raft of features that include an impressive
72 MHz operation (almost 3,000 channels!), the S6000 E-Series also boasts a range of rugged transmitter designs, all with single AA operation.
The miniature beltpack transmitter scores highly with producers and the cast alike from an aesthetic and practical point of view. Enhancements include ruggedised battery compartment, improved audio dynamics and choice of popular connector variants.
In addition to the beltpack, the recently launched handheld has also been enhanced. Its new quick action inter-changeable head facility allows the user to select the best capsule design for the relevant application.
Trantec’s Richard Ganley commented: “The S6000E Series represents two years’ intensive R&D and investment on our part to position our flagship product at the leading edge of the market. Taking advice from sound designers and engineers, we’ve added features that represent a step change. By enhancing the original design, whilst positioning the E-Series at a competitive price point, we aim to provide the industry standard in RF solutions for professional users.”
The S6000E Series will be showcased at the SBES Show at the NEC from 15-16 November.
