Two New Faces in Avo Sales Team
The busy Avolites sales team has been boosted with the arrival of two new faces – Simon Harris and Chakir Mustafa.
Mustafa joins as sales executive and will be working closely with Avo’s dynamic Steve Warren and Koy Neminathan in developing and promoting Avolites sales worldwide. Fluent in Spanish and also speaking Arabic and French (in addition to English of course!) Mustafa will be covering these territories as well as the UK.
Before joining Avolites, he studied Spanish and Business Studies at Queen Mary University, London, whilst also working in the retail sector. He brings enthusiasm and a great sense of humour to the Avolites equation, and is “really looking forward to working with a great team, and so many exciting and innovative products.”
Simon Harris joins as sales engineer and will be putting his fund of technical experience gleaned from working with comms giants like Vodafone and Blackberry to good use at Avolites. The contact with Simon came from Avo sales engineer, Ben Miles. Ben is taking a break from our industry to carry out charity projects on behalf of under privileged children in South America. As well as engaging in general sales, Harris will be specialising in media servers, and will be developing Avolites’ increasingly close ties with the media server community, part of the company’s commitment to greater multi-media integration. “It’s a key time to be involved in this type of technology this is a great opportunity,” he comments.
Harris will be UK based and will also be travelling. Music has played an important part in his life – he gained a degree in Jazz from Leeds College of Music and plays sax, drums, bass and guitar as well as DJ’ing and producing.
Avo’s sales director Steve Warren comments: “We’re extremely lucky to have found two people as talented, energetic and well suited to the Avolites modus operandi as Chakir and Simon. We’re all really fired-up about having them onboard, and look forward to plenty of busy and positive times ahead.”
