Electrosonic has Right Image for ISE 2007
Electrosonic will be showcasing the VN-Matrix on Booth G50 at ISE 2007. Delegates visiting the booth will be able to preview this powerful, real-time image encoder/decoder for demanding imaging applications where the cost of replicating image generation equipment is impractical or expensive. The company will also be previewing the ImageStar HD, a powerful, yet cost effective, digital signage processor for space and noise sensitive environments.
VN-Matrix encodes video or graphics sources at resolutions up to HD or UXGA, streams this over an IP network, and decodes the signal back to the original picture. Bi-directional audio may accompany the video. VN-Matrix offers image delivery performance (high resolution and low latency) not attainable with video streaming or computer desktop capture systems. Real-time encoding removes the need for time consuming intermediate processes to prepare content for network transmission.
In response to market demand, Electronsonic has recently included the capability to record and playback any complex visual display without loss of quality. As VN-Matrix handles video and graphics image types equally well, this functionality makes it the perfect solution for recording high resolution displays in complex command and control situations.
VN-Matrix is ideal for a wide variety of applications including, distance learning and presenting, telemedicine and medical education, scientific, exploration, defence, and industrial design collaboration.
ImageStar HD features a high performance processor within a compact design and is capable of scaling a variety of input source types (which include high definition video or graphic images) across up to four displays. At its most simple, it can be used as a high quality image scaler, and in more sophisticated applications can create banner displays or overlaps for soft-edged projectors; this makes ImageStar HD an ideal solution for retail digital signage applications.
