grandMA controls Pepsi Music 2006

Once again, the Pepsi Music Festival took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Beside numerous artists such as Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Ziggy Marley, Gustavo Cerati, Massacre, Catupecu Machu, Los Auténticos Decadentes and Rata Blanca, Pepsi Music 2006 presented more than 200 bands and artists in eleven days and had more than 160,000 visitors. There was also well-known technology used: one grandMA full-size, one NSP, grandMA onPC and one grandMA ultra-light for preprogramming, showed their full capability during the production.

“We decided to use the grandMA system, due to the easy programming,” explained programmer Pablo Hernando. “We felt really comfortable during the programming time. The whole system is very reliable and strong. Also the software tools that go along with the system are extremely useful and easy to understand. I’m convinced that grandMA is the best choice on the market.”

The lighting rig of the main stage was amongst others composed of 12 Martin MAC 2000s, 18 Martin MAC 2000 Washes, 12 Martin MAC 500s and 16 Martin MAC 600s.

Daniel Ridano from MA Lighting International and Stage Tech delivered comprehensive project support. The Estudio del Altillo (Horacio Efrom & Pablo Hernando) undertook the Light and Concept design.
