Blackout Celebrates 15 Years in Business
If you've worked at events during the last 15 years, you're bound to have seen the odd Blackout truck outside the venue! From designing and manufacturing unusual creations in drapes and starcloth for worldwide music tours, to installing complex truss structures at award ceremonies, Blackout have been working their magic all over the world for 15 years.
Established in January 1991, Blackout has come a long way since sewing the very first black drape. Today, Blackout is proud to be the largest supplier of drapes, rigging, starcloth and track to the theatre, media, event and corporate industries. The company has encountered every possible challenge that can occur in this fast-paced industry, and as a result this has made them stronger and more innovative.
Steve Tuck, managing director and founder of Blackout, puts the reason for their success over the past 15 years down to the sheer dedication of the whole Blackout team, "from seamstresses to senior management, great pride is taken in every project and we will continue to deliver the very best in products and services for the future."
