Lightfactor Sales at ARC 06
Lightfactor Sales highlights the latest products from its control, display and architectural ranges of lighting at ARC 06.
This includes the latest LightProcessor architectural dimmers and control solutions, along with luminaires from SGM, LDR and Xilver. SGM and Xilver products will be controlled wirelessly via Wireless Solutions’ Wireless DMX, and Prolyte trussing will also feature on the stand.
SGM’s PALCO LED colour-changer is featured. The elegant flat-faced fixture is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use (IP65 rated), utilising new technology and stylish design to blend harmoniously into surrounding architecture. PALCO uses of a series of high-power Luxeon LEDs (with RGB colour mixing - five blues, 20 greens and 24 reds). It’s available, with 3W LEDs.
PALCO Mobile is a new IP22 rated version of the fixture with motorized pan & tilt movement. It’s DMX controlled with optional remote control unit. The fixture has RGB colour mixing and a combination of high-power Luxeon 3W/1W LEDs (7 blue, 18 green, 24 red). It has a luminous flux of 2,200 Lumens and a colour temperature: 5,500°K (variable).
All PALCO products are available with a range of interchangeable lenses - 8°, 25°, 40°, 10°x 22° (elliptical) horizontal and vertical. The pan is 0° - 350° and the tilt Tilt: +15° / -70 degrees
SGM's Ribalta is a groundbreaking color-changing projector for indoor and outdoor applications. Using 90 high-power Luxeon LEDs as the light source, it creates an evenly diffused light beam, ideal for illuminating large areas, and can be precisely controlled either remotely or via a dedicated IR unit. The exclusive design, interchangeable lenses, and IP65 rating make the Ribalta perfect for permanent or temporary installation in many applications - monuments, buildings, stages, houses of worship, museums, art galleries, libraries, shopping malls, and shop window displays.
Lightfactor highlights the Sparkle XL and Droplet LED fixtures from Xilver.
The highly aesthetic Sparkle is an RGB colour mixing system incorporating Xilver’s patented homogenous colour mixing system, which mixes the colours inside the unit, reducing colour fragmentation in the beam path and producing an extremely even beam and colour field. It’s available with three lens options - 8, 22 and 40 degrees. A self-contained unit with DMX and power straight in, Sparkle is ideal for museums, heritage, architectural and retail applications, plus more traditional entertainment uses like conferences and corporate events.
Lightfactor also showcases Xilver’s amazing Droplet, a small, bright moving light with a new-technology LED lightsource. Available in identical looking moving and static versions, Droplet is housed in a plastic casing that can be painted to stand out or blend in with the surroundings. The fixture has full control of position, movement, effects and colour selection, and the high power LEDs make it easy to create fluent and fast colour changes.
Lightfactor is the UK distributor for Italian manufacturer LDR, a leading manufacturer of specialist luminaires for the entertainment and architectural industries.
Featured products at ARC 06 include the Soffio 10/28
angle profile spotlight with a variable zoom focus from 10° to 28°, making it ideal for gobo projections. The Soffio can project acetate images as well as gobos, and because it uses a dichroic reflector, the heat is expelled through the rear of the lantern, creating a cool light-path at the front. Acetate gobos and gels will therefore not burn.
LDR’s Gobo Wizard software is available as a free download. This makes the creation of acetate gobos incredibly simple, or they can be produced in several other popular photo manipulation programmes.
The Soffio’s 150W MSD or HSD lamp produces a high-power daylight beam which is popular for display, retail and architectural lighting applications.
The fixture is supplied with an in-built ballast, colour frame and four shutter blades for framing the image.
The LDR Rima asymmetric flood will also be highlighted. Rima is a new, stylish, high specification series of 200 - 500W asymmetrical floodlights, ideal for washing large surface areas. The modular design enables several units to be coupled together to form a single compartment or a square batten. Improved design prevents any light spill, and it’s available (to order) in any RAL colour.
Lightfactor is showing products from LightProcessor’s two architectural digital dimming ranges – Dimension and Paradim.
The new LightProcessor Dimension 1210 wall mounted dimmer is a single or three phase device, with MCB breakers on each circuit, user-replaceable triacs plus many other features. Keenly priced, it’s available as DMX or DMX with onboard memory.
Paradim installation dimmers are a low-cost, 6-scene, 6-channel dimmer, available in 6 x 10A, 6 x 16A or 6 x 20A formats. They can be hard wired or rack mounted, single or three phase and encompass fire alarm settings and onboard scene memory.
Scenes stored in the dimmer can be recalled by any of the LightProcessor series of Scene Recall Button Stations, either with LED indicators, faders or simple buttons.
All the LightProcessor ranges allow the dimming or switching of any circuit - a neat solution for switching fluorescents, cleaner lights, etc. with the same dimmer unit.
Both Paradim and Dimension can be used in conjunction with one another.
