PSCo Win Innovation Award
PSCo’s FogScreen has been announced Winner of this year’s TESA (The Event Services Association) Award for Innovation.
The new FogScreen, which captures images on a layer of fog made from tap water, was launched at the end of 2005, winning the PLASA Award for Innovation at that exhibition in September.
The fog feels dry and cool to touch, and can be walked through, taking only seconds for the images projected upon it to reform. The inclusion of an infra red interactive sensor also allows the screen to be used as a touch screen.
Stuart Holmes, Director of PSCo commented: “The FogScreen has had an amazing response since entering the UK AV market and we are overwhelmed with the industry’s reaction towards it, winning two awards in the first year it has been here. This has highlighted the importance of bringing new products to market and making cutting edge AV a part of events and exhibitions.”
