Sennheiser Broadside at the Brits
Amongst other artists choosing Sennheiser were Jack Johnson, Gorillaz and, despite the distraction of 77 near-naked gold-painted ladies, US star Kanye West who picked up Best International Breakthrough Act. Sennheiser artist relations manager, Mark Saunders says: “We are particularly pleased that Sennheiser IEM’s have rapidly become the industry standard, and also that we are maintaining our status as preferred broadcast microphone manufacturer.”
Sennheiser presence at the show was once again supported by leading sound designer Derrick Zieba and Britannia Row Productions. “This is the fifth consecutive year that I have collaborated at the BRITS with Sennheiser,” said Zieba. “Yet again they provided faultless radio from the outset. Their dedication to providing the artists with their choice of mic was outstanding and their technical support team is second to none.”
