Affordable Wireless Quality from JTS
Wireless mics seem to be taking over these days, even at the entry-level. But as users often find out, however much of a bargain a cheap wireless system seems on the way home, if it lets you down on a gig it has been a very expensive buy – according to Proel. To the rescue, from JTS, is an ‘easily-affordable’ entry-level system that they claim works, and will keep on working, for gig after gig.
The JTS 8010D is a single channel UHF diversity system, which is fully legal for use throughout the UK, without need of a licence. Operating on one of a choice three fixed UHF frequencies (863.125, 863.75 and 864.725) it comes in a sturdy metal case and in four versions: with a robust handheld dynamic JTS microphone/transmitter, as a Lavalier mic system with beltpack transmitter, as a headworn mic system or a guitar transmitter, both of the latter supplied with well-made clip-on beltpack transmitters.
