ETC Launches New Website
ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc.) has redesigned its company website, which will go live on Monday, May 15, 2006. With improved features and more information than ETC’s former site, the new etcconnect.com will also be easier to navigate and will include regionalised access. Convenient categories for entertainment lighting, architectural lighting – or both – will make it a rich resource for experienced lighting professionals as well as beginners who will find more direct data on ETC products and a wealth of solutions for all levels of lighting projects.
Product pages will include user-friendly hot links to downloads, tutorials and other important documentation about ETC’s acclaimed line of lighting equipment, including the award-winning Source Four family of luminaires; Sensor+ and Unison dimming systems; ETC and IES SineWave technology, compact Smart Solutions lighting gear, plus Congo and SmartFade control consoles, with an exciting first look at the next generation of ETC control: Eos.
A brand-new ETC web site feature is the ‘Solutions’ section, which will give useful advice about expanding a lighting system or creating one from scratch, with helpful tips, budget considerations and layout solutions.
Refined search capabilities with better filter controls will speed access to information in the expanded download library. Other areas of the web site will feature information about ETC’s industry-recognised service, stories about notable ETC installations and a searchable archive of ETC news.
