PreSonus Appoints HHB as Exclusive UK Distributor
HHB has announced its appointment as exclusive UK distributor for PreSonus professional audio products. Founded by the award-winning American musician/producer/engineer and now CEO Jim Odom in 1995, PreSonus has established a full range of great-sounding, value-for-money FireWire audio interfaces, preamplifiers and processors, all designed to enhance the recording and production experience.
Ranging from the palm-sized Inspire 1394 to the expandable FireStudio, PreSonus FireWire interfaces come with rock-solid drivers and a free ProPack Software Suite including Cubase LE and more than 2GB of plug-ins, drum loops and samples, providing everything required for professional computer music recording. Other innovative products in the PreSonus range include the new FaderPort music production USB/MIDI controller and the best-selling Central Station monitor controller both of which further streamline the recording process for the computer-based musician.
A range of mic pres and dynamics processors is similarly comprehensive, with stackable 1/3U personal recording products for desktop music production through to the new ADL 600 high-voltage two channel microphone preamplifier, described by legendary producer/engineer Chuck Ainlay as “number one in my
studio arsenal”.
Speaking on behalf of HHB, director of distributed brands Howard Jones says: ”The passion for music and recording that runs right through PreSonus is immediately obvious in the products. Users in the US enthuse about their ease-of-use, glitch-free performance, low noise, great value and exceptional build quality, so naturally wešre delighted to be giving PreSonus products the profile they deserve here in the UK.”
Speaking for PreSonus during a recent trip to London, international sales director Mark Williams says: “HHB has vast experience in the UK pro audio market and shares our ethos of quality, value and customer service. I’m confident that PreSonus will now achieve its full potential in the UK.”
