L-Acoustics Names New V-DOSC Partner for Belgium
Conveniently based in Ranst near Antwerp in the north of Belgium, the ASP Group has just been nominated as a new L-Acoustics V-DOSC Partner and dV-DOSC Provider for Belgium. ASP Audiologic, the pro-audio department of the ASP Group, focuses on the professional audio market demands and is renowned for its extensive stock of specialized audio equipment.
Yves Quireyns, managing director of ASP Audiologic said: “During the 22 years that we have been in the business, we have extensively tested many systems, this one being by far the best we have ever heard. It sounds fantastic in every location and leaves it’s competitors far behind.” ASP has already invested in 18 dV-DOSC, 16 V-DOSC, six dV-SUB, 16 SB218 subs and L-Acoustics amplifiers.
ASP Audiologic has previously used L-Acoustics systems on a rental basis in the past for two of major artists, Rob De Nijs – the Dutch singer – and the well-known Belgian Band Vaya Con Dios, for some time now. Both artists and technicians were equally impressed by the performance of the system. In addition, an impressive list of events has already been confirmed for this summer including the ‘Turnhoutse Vrijdagen’ which is a series of concerts on Friday evenings in the Belgian town of Turnhout, the ‘Sfinks Festival’ a very popular world music festival in Boechout (Belgium) at the end of July, the ‘Polé Polé Festival’ a 10-day tropical festival in Ghent in July, the VT Summer-Tour comprising 15 open-air dates in various Belgian cities featuring young Belgian artists and attracting crowds of between 4 to 5’000 enthusiastic fans per show, and the Waterpop Festival in Wateringen (Netherlands), an alternative music festival with both Dutch and international acts.
